How to change your WHM password?

Occasionally, a user may forget his password and not be able to access his cPanel control panel or his FTP account. With help of WHM you can easily create a new password for him in a couple of seconds! Let’s see how it’s done.   1. The first thing you would need to do is log into WHM with your log in credentials.
  2. Click Account Functions.select-accounts-fuction-link
  3. Click the Password Modification link.password-modification
  4. Remember that the WHM password is the same as the cPanel password for your main account.
  5. In this tutorial, our main account is mybiz123.info so let’s go ahead and change it’s password.select-domain-to-change-password
  6. Enter and confirm a new password here.type-in-new-whmpassword
  7. Click the Change Password button.click-change-password
  8. That’s it! We’ve successfully changed our main password that’s used to login to WHM and cPanel for mybiz123.info. Now let’s go try and do something else in WHM.
  9. Click List Accounts.click-on-list-accounts
  10. Since we’ve just changed the WHM password, we are required to log in again before being able to do anything else in WHM.log-into-WHM
  11.  Login with the new password here.enter-new-webhostmanager-password
  12. We’re now logged back in to WHM.list-accounts-interface
